My question of the day.

After reading a chapter in Love and Logic, this was one of their “magic phrases.” I decided to try it out for myself, instead of directly telling the child what they should do.

(student is typing in his own name in the google search engine instead of the person he is researching)
Me: What do you think I think?
Student: That I should be looking up Andrew Carnegie.

(student walks into room chewing gum)
Me: What do you think I think?
Student: I need to spit out my gum (spits out gum) 

(student is under his desk)
Me: What do you think I think?
Student: (Blank confused stare)
